BOWEN  YOUNG, the Nashville-based Cinematic Americana duo is made up of ethereal vocalists; Clare Bowen and Brandon Robert Young.

Clare, a radiant star from rural Australia, was hand picked for her breakout role on the hit ABC series “NASHVILLE” in 2012 by Americana legend, T Bone Burnett, and acclaimed writer of Thelma And Louise, Callie Khouri. Taken under the wing of musical genius, Buddy Miller, Bowen brought the beloved character, Scarlett O’Connor to life, and became a touring artist, releasing her debut, eponymous album in 2018 to worldwide critical acclaim.

A pediatric cancer survivor, Bowen is open about her life experience and navigating the world as an Autistic person. She attributes keeping up with a heavy filming and touring schedule, largely to Young’s support, stating matter of factly -  “I couldn’t do it without him, and I wouldn’t bloody want to.”

Brandon, an otherworldly singer and formidable songwriter, moved from Connecticut to Nashville in 2001 with a notebook full of blank pages and a guitar he had no idea how to play. An extraordinary vocal range, enigmatic personality and sheer determination lead him to working alongside artists such as John Hiatt, Emmy Lou Harris, Buddy Miller and Levon Helm.

BOWEN YOUNG‘s odysseys were intertwined in 2013 when Brandon was called in as an emergency replacement duet partner for Clare at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. The pair met and rehearsed minutes before walking onstage together, and discovered a dynamic, multifaceted chemistry, marking the inception of an unbreakable partnership. Young proposed to Bowen the following year, at the Ryman Auditorium, and in 2017, John Carter Cash officiated their union at the Cash Cabin.

BOWEN YOUNG’s haunting debut album “Us” produced by Sean McConnell, Mikky Ekko & Roger Alan Nichols lead the duo to working and sharing stages with artists such as Billy Joel, Allison Krauss, Robert Plant, Mavis Staples, Bob Dylan, Maren Morris and Willie Nelson. 2026 has so far seen BOWEN YOUNG re-release the Cinematic “B&C Side” versions of their chilling track, Dangerous Love, embark upon the NASHVILLE ENCORE TOUR playing sold out shows across the US, UK, and Europe, return to the US to accommodate Bowen’s filming schedule, and return to the stage with multiple Emmy award winning actor and musician, Jonathan Jackson, for the Songs & Stories From Music City tour. The pair are set to release several dynamic new singles this year, with a full album to follow.
